Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using CodeMantis, you agree to these terms with Siriustech SRL, Stejerisului 30H, 500122 Brașov, România — the provider of CodeMantis. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License

CodeMantis is fair-source software released under the Fair Core License, Version 1.0 (FCL-1.0-ALv2). You may read, use, copy, modify, and redistribute the software for any purpose that does not compete with CodeMantis, subject to the conditions of the FCL — including the requirement not to remove, disable, or circumvent license-key functionality. Each version of the software automatically converts to the Apache License 2.0 two years after its release. Versions released before the adoption of the FCL were published under the MIT License and remain available under those terms.

The Software

CodeMantis is a native desktop application that provides a graphical interface for Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool. CodeMantis is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic.

Requirements

CodeMantis requires a separate Claude Code CLI installation and an active Claude Pro or Max subscription from Anthropic. These are subject to Anthropic's own terms of service and pricing. CodeMantis is not responsible for the availability, pricing, or functionality of Claude Code.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the software.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any code generated or modified through Claude Code via CodeMantis before deploying it to production. AI-generated code should be treated with the same scrutiny as any third-party contribution.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
